Be her voice on your campus

Twelve campuses, one ambassador each. Four dollars an activation, your own thea free for a year, and a live page with your number.

The programme

One student per campus. Cards in hand, thirty seconds, four dollars an activation — and your own thea free for a year.

thea answers the calls you miss and texts you what the caller wanted, in French or English. She launches this fall with 750 founding seats in Québec, Ontario and Atlantic Canada, most of them for students. We don't buy ads on campus; we ask one person who is already there.

What you do

You hand a card to a person and say one sentence. The card has your own QR code. That's it — residence, cafeteria, the association, between classes. Never left on a table, never in a mailbox.

What you get

$4 for every activation — a person who signs up with your card and forwards their line, which you see live on your page — paid monthly by Interac e-Transfer. Plus a founding seat, free for a year: thea on your own phone.

What it adds up to

We plan 500 cards per ambassador per month. At the rate we measured on campus this fall, that is 20 to 40 activations — $80 to $160 a month for a few hours a week.

Who

A student at one of the campuses below, 18 or over, who speaks the campus's language and likes talking to strangers. Two or three hours a week, September to December.

The sentence

“It's thea — she answers your phone when you can't and texts you what they wanted. First month free, no card, and this code is mine.”

How it works

  1. Apply below — two minutes.
  2. A fifteen-minute call with Vincent, the founder. He does every one himself.
  3. Your kit: 500 cards with your own code, the sentence, and your live page — scans, sign-ups, activations and what you've earned, updated as it happens.
  4. Every Sunday a two-line recap with your number. Every first of the month, the transfer.

Three rules

  1. Cards go hand to hand. Not on tables, not on windshields, not in mailboxes — a card nobody asked for is litter with our name on it.
  2. You never message people you don't know. No mass texts, no cold emails, no group-chat blasts. That is the law (CASL) and it is also just rude.
  3. You promise only what's on the site. If someone asks something you don't know, the answer is “ask her — thea.help.”

You work as an independent, not an employee; over $500 in a year we send a T4A. Your application is kept twelve months; write to thea@thea.help to remove it sooner.

Apply

Two lines about you beat a résumé. Vincent reads every one.

Your networks optional, but it helps us picture your reach

Where people already follow you — a handle and a rough follower count. We look; we never post for you.

Hear it for yourself — the live demo takes ninety seconds.

Try her now

Five minutes from now, she can be answering your phone. Install the app, confirm your number, dial one forwarding code. No new SIM, no new number, nothing to install on your line.
